Restaurant Arkada is located only a few kilometers from Split – in Podstrana, near Hotel Lav. Arkada was initially opened in the 1960′s as a disco club, but it was converted into a restaurant in 1966. This restaurant is a family run business, but their success is based on quality service and great choice of food and beverages.

The menu consists mostly of their original recipes, made from fresh seasonal ingredients. Most courses are some form of Mediterranean cuisine, but any special orders are available, and the chef will gladly make a special meal for you, based on your diet. Arkada was one of the first restaurants in its region with Mexican and macrobiotic courses.

The manager of the restaurant and main chef of the restaurant is Miro Bogdanovic, who is also the president of the Association of chefs from the Mediterranean and Euorpean Regions.
