The Big beach in Omis is clean and maintained, and during the summer, there’s a beach bar in the middle of the beach, as well as few nearby summer caffes and bars.
The sandy Big Beach is an ideal host for annual volleyball championship, and the volleyball terrains are open all summer long. Also, due to its sandy surface, the Big Beach hosts a parachutist competition in precision landing.
Omis is well connected with Split, with only 28 km of road between them. It is convenient to visit by bus or by car. Also, Omis lies on the old Adriatic highway, and it’s connected to the newly built highway.
